A Few Words About House

ABOUT US

We bought our home years ago with the dream of running it as a full bed and breakfast. We were blessed to do that for a while until our oldest was diagnosed with Leukemia. That changed our lives in a number of ways.  We closed the B and B and raised our babies.   Now they are flying the coup, and we have some extra space.

We run a farm with chickens, horses, cats and dogs. We plant vegetables like green beans, corn, okra, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, and fruit gardens like watermelons. We have blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, peach trees, pear trees and apple trees. I enjoy my multiple flower beds. We grow a extra large sunflower field near our lower pasture in the summer too.

There are a number of different wildlife you will see on the farm – deer, turkey,  and more.

We truly enjoy our farm and the tranquility it brings.  We hope you will too!

Pasture Morning

East TN Life

Come just once and you will fall in love with our area – the lakes, the mountains, the food, the entertainment, the football. There is something for ALL. There is no greater place to call home than right here – our piece of heaven, our joy. When you bring together family and friends in the mix, you will truly have it all. Come see what all the fuss it about! In the fall – you have a sea of orange from the Vol Navy the checked orange/white seating at Neyland Stadium. There is nothing like the passion of UT Football. So if you are visiting the area, you will want to plan ahead to enjoy University of Tennessee football and friends. While here, make sure you take a pit stop in the Great Smoky Mountains – whether hiking the many trails or shopping or just enjoying the lights in Gatlinburg or Dollywood. If you are an advid boater or fisherman, Fort Loudon Lake (Marina is 5 minutes away) offers some of the best bass fishing around.

Come stay with us and be in the middle of it all with easy access to a number of attractions.
